Coat for Rainy Season

I came across this coat in an online magazine and it really caught my eyes. Actually today's weather is cold and I am wearing a coat my tita gave me. So I was browsing the net for a similar one but I found this instead. It's definitely great to be worn on rainy season, fashionable, cozy and useful! ayt? ;)

Vanity Fair's Best Dressed Woman in the World

It seems like Madam Carla Bruni-Sarkozy's name always rings a bell nowadays. Just recently she was in the news about her success in her album and now, again, appearing in the 2008 Vanity Fair's list of Best Dressed Woman in the World, next to the Princess of Belgium.

Unfortunately, my bet and icon, Victoria Beckham did not make it on the top list. But she deserves to be included! I wonder how they arrived to such list... hmmm... *thinking

How to know if you are dating a commitment-ready guy?

I was about to write for an opportunity about flirting and as I open MSWord, the recently opened document listed beside the window caught my eyes, 10 Signs That You're Dating a Commitment-Ready Guy. I then opened it, feeling curious and interested. Instead of completing what I ought to do, I read the points and somehow believed they were true. Actually, I am not in dating stage right now but I think they are clearly pointed out. So if you are in the dating stage, try to check if your guy has some of the qualities and signs. Hope these help! ;)

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, First Lady of France

Actually, I hardly recall the day when I came across with the woman's name. I watched CNN last week, I think . Mmm.. Upon hearing that she was a former model and married the president of France, President Nicolas Sarkozy, one thing that filled my mind, and it was AWE. I was definitely awed with the woman's person. I mean, being a model is not something that dignitaries would end up marrying with. Liking is very shallow and anybody can be attracted to them but marrying seems like something to be worth pondering upon. Families with dignitary backgrounds will also find someone who they think will be useful to them. Don't you think so? So to Madam Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, salutes to you! I just wish she will really be helpful with the President's many agenda. Toast to women of the world!

Are you Dalja?

Have you been familiar with Oh Dal Ja? Well, she is a character of a popular 2007 Korean drama series entitled DALJA'S SPRING played by Chae Rim.

The story is about a 33 year old woman who has not been involved romantically with a man ever in her life. She works in a TV shopping center as a production manager. In her quest for revenge to her officemate slash suitor whom she felt she was two-timed, she hired a man she just bumped into on the streets. Later, she realize she was falling in love with him. But how about the president who woes her after telling she's interested in him? Now she's trapped in a love triangle.

The character of a woman who is successful in career often fails to find someone who will care and love her a lifetime. Successful women tend to find successful partners too. Someone who is stable enough to provide her needs in all aspect. Sometimes we realize that because we set high standards in a man, we fail to find a partner.

I do not know but many women tend to look for someone whom they will feel secured; emotionally, physically, mentally and financially. Someone who is able to build a family. And I am one of these women.

Are you Dalja? Coz I am... ;)

Fashion for Rainy Season

Hmmm... June until August mark the rainy season in the Philippines and when we say rainy, we never leave our coats and umbrellas behind. Can we still do the cat walk even if it's raining? Of course yes!

Well, as for my list, full-length clothes are definitely a NO NO! It makes sense doesn't it? Wearing lengthy outfits will definitely make you attract mud and water in the rain. So make sure you do not wear long pants and long sleeves during this season. Except for the coat, to protect you from the rain. Fashion in this season must be something light and funky. Wear lorts (short length pants, below the knee), instead.

If I go strolling at the mall, I just prefer to wear lorts, dainty colored shirts or sandos with coat, and jelly slippers.
